Safe Ticket Exchange CLOSED
We are happy to provide an official ticket exchange service! A Harvest team member will manually process the ticket exchange between the Seller and Buyer for a processing fee. Please read the following instructions carefully. If you have any questions, please refer to the Exchange FAQ below.
STEPS TO RESELL A TICKET
- 1. Seller finds a Buyer. Buyer provides their name and email address to the Seller.
- 2. Seller fills out the Ticket Exchange Form.

The Seller enters their code to reveal the Ticket Exchange feature on the Harvest page on TicketWeb. The Seller will pay the processing fee for each exchanged ticket. They will also receive a purchase confirmation email from TicketWeb.
- 4. Each Buyer indicated on the form will automatically receive an email with a unique Access Code and link to the TicketWeb ticket page. They can use the code to complete their ticket purchase(s). The system will deliver the ticket confirmation.
- 4a. If the Seller indicated on the form that they wish to keep some of their tickets, they will receive an email with a unique Access Code and link to the TicketWeb ticket page, where they can re-purchase them at the original price.
- 5. Once all transactions are complete, the ticket admin will refund the Seller’s original purchase within 48 hours. The tickets will be sent by email on Sunday, September 8th.

EXCHANGE FAQ
- Q: What does it cost to use the ticket exchange service?
- A: Sellers and buyers each pay $15 per ticket exchanged.
- Q: What if I originally purchased four tickets and only want to sell 1, 2, or 3 of them?
- A: Only the tickets exchanged will be charged.
- Q: Do I have to use this service if I want to sell my ticket?
- A: No, you don’t. We encourage anyone looking to buy or sell tickets to reach out to people they know and trust.
This exchange service is designed to help facilitate ticket exchanges between people who do not know each other.
Tickets are not registered to an individual. Persons with a valid ticket are welcome at the festival. Please note that a ticket can only be used once.
As a word of caution if someone offering to buy or sell a ticket is vouched for by someone you don’t know well, consider insisting on using this service to ensure peace of mind. While you can use another escrow service of your choice, the seller will be responsible for safely delivering the ticket to the buyer. Harvest cannot verify that another person received the same ticket.
- A: No, you don’t. We encourage anyone looking to buy or sell tickets to reach out to people they know and trust.
- Q: Can I use this service if I have a hard ticket?
- A: Only tickets purchased online from TicketWeb can be exchanged using this system. Hard ticket holders looking to sell are encouraged to take appropriate precautions and make arrangements to deliver their tickets to the buyer in person. Only accept photos of hard tickets from those you trust.
But why, you ask?
Firstly, this service keeps it simple by handling both the financial exchange and the logistics of issuing new tickets to the buyer and invalidating the seller’s original tickets—one in, one out. Because hard tickets were paid for in cash with no further information collected, issuing a refund to the seller is not feasible.
Secondly, collecting the ticket code presents a security risk, as the code essentially is the ticket. We cannot provide reasonable protection to the seller in that scenario.

- Q: Why is this so complicated? Why do I have to pay an exchange fee?
- A: The TicketWeb system doesn’t facilitate ticket resale. We’re offering this service to meet our community’s needs and eliminate opportunities for scammers to take advantage of our members’ kind and trusting nature. We’ve looked into existing services, but unfortunately, none offer this service at a fixed fee. Most build their business models around the idea that once an event sells out, the tickets are in demand and sold at whatever price the market will bear. We don’t think that’s fair, so we’re offering a fixed-fee alternative that fairly compensates the administrators for their time.
- Q: Is there anything I can do to ensure a scammer doesn’t use this system to fleece me or someone else?
- A: Yes. Only use the links on this page, which point to bit.ly/Harvest2024TicketExchange. This link will change the URL address in your browser to a Jotform URL, which we may update. Only we have control of where that Bitly link redirects.
