About Harvest festival
Harvest Festival is a four-day event that celebrates electronic music, art, and community. It happens every September at Midlothian Castle, home of the famous “Screaming Heads,” near Burk’s Falls, Ontario. We showcase a variety of electronic music, circus performances, and multimedia artists, and have been bringing friends, and friends of friends, together for a magical journey every year since 1998. Harvest blends the intimacy of a close gathering with the energy of a high-production music festival. It is produced by alienInFlux Sound System & Event Productions.
Attendees experience:
- Music: House, techno, bass music & ambient DJs on multiple stages.
- Performances: Circus acts and other vibrant creative expressions.
- Community: Fostering kindness, self-expression, and creativity.
- Atmosphere: Set against the backdrop of unique sculptures, geodesic music tents, rolling hills, waters, and forests
As the season shifts toward the fall equinox, nights under the stars with lights, lasers, and art installations flow into sunny afternoon dance floors and fireside gatherings. For some, Harvest is a once-in-a-lifetime trip; for others, it’s a yearly ritual they plan their calendar around.
In 2024, we celebrated the 25th anniversary of the festival.
Happy Harvest!
