Permission-based marketing messages
We follow Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) and require your consent to send marketing messages. By subscribing via this website or the ticket website, you’ll receive updates from alienInFlux and Harvest festival. If you’ve made a purchase in the last two years or inquired within the past six months, we have implied consent to contact you. After that, express consent is needed. You can unsubscribe at any time by following the instructions in our messages. Feel free to contact us with a request.
Photography and Video Capture
We encourage participants to share their experiences with friends, such as on Instagram, with the tag #HarvestLovesYou and our private Facebook Group. However, understand that attitudes towards being recorded vary. Please don’t take or post photos or videos if the subject does not welcome them.
Communication can understandably be difficult in outdoor scenes and loud, crowded spaces. If you can, we recommend seeking approval verbally or non-verbally with a nod or gesture before or after taking pictures or videos of individuals. It’s all about respect and choice.
Subjects are encouraged to communicate their preferences as well. If you don’t wish to be recorded, please indicate verbally or non-verbally.
By attending Harvest Festival, you consent to be photographed and authorize the festival to use your image for communications if shared by professional photographers with us for this purpose. It’s ok to change your mind. Contact us if you want a photo removed from our social media or website. We do not sell or provide high-resolution images to anyone.
